Ariel Italia – Personal Testimony & Faith Journey
Growing Up in Italy
Italy is known for its Catholic traditions, and both of our families grew up in this environment. But God had other plans.
Through the bold faith of Paolo’s father, who moved their family near the Italian Alps, Paolo’s mother first heard the Gospel and was transformed. Her love for the Word spread everywhere she went, leading many to salvation across Italy.
After years of moving, our families eventually settled in Prato, Tuscany—same city, same building, same floor. Our parents became friends, and soon, Martina’s mother believed in Yeshua. After eight years of struggles, Martina’s father also came to faith and today serves as an elder in our congregation alongside Paolo and his brothers.
We grew up surrounded by the Bible, falling in love with its message and with Israel, the people of God’s promise. As teens, we served at Bible camps and learned this life lesson:
“Love the Lord with all your heart, and because you love Him, serve Him with all you have.”
Though we didn’t get along as teenagers, we later discovered love for each other, married in our twenties, and became parents to Sophia and Timoteo.

Discovering Ariel Ministries
In 2005, during a family trip to Montreal, we visited Beth Ariel Congregation, a fellowship of Jewish believers in Yeshua. For the first time, we heard the Scriptures taught from a Jewish frame of reference. It opened our eyes—understanding Yeshua’s Jewish identity brought Scripture to life in a deeper way.
Back in Italy, we studied Ariel Ministries’ resources online. But there was one problem: everything was in English. We began praying for Italian translations—until God impressed on us that we should be the ones to translate.
In 2015, we began translating The Footsteps of the Messiah by Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum. The journey was filled with trials—family illness, unemployment, financial hardship—but we pressed forward, trusting the Lord. In 2018, the Italian edition was published, just before Dr. Fruchtenbaum’s first conference in Italy.
The Birth of Ariel Italia
2019, where our vision deepened. In 2020, Ariel Italia was born.
Today, our team is mostly volunteers—Jewish and Gentile believers—committed to:
Translating Ariel resources into Italian
- Teaching Scripture in our congregation and at conferences across Italy
- Connecting with Jewish communities in Italy, especially in light of rising antisemitism
Vision & Challenges
Antisemitism and anti-Zionism are growing in Italy, both in society and even in churches. This makes our mission both urgent and difficult. Yet we remain committed to:
- Sharing sound theology rooted in the Jewish context of the Bible
- Standing with the Jewish people in love and solidarity
- Reaching as many souls as possible with the Good News of Israel’s Messiah
