Arlie,
In the physical realm, this is war between peoples and ideologies. The very survival of the Jewish state is at stake. But there is something much bigger at stake. This is also a spiritual war. This is the land where heaven meets earth, and where Satan is attempting to destroy the Jewish people and thwart God's plan to glorify Himself. This is the land where Yeshua was born, grew to manhood, ministered to those without a shepherd, and gave His life on the Tree. This is the land where the prince of this world lost his power over those who choose to belong to Messiah Jesus. Last of all, this is the land where the Messianic King will establish His rule over the whole earth and sit upon David's throne forever.
Amen!
I am 72 years old and have taught Eschatology from the Bible using Arnold's book Footsteps of the Messiah as a guide. I continue to use it as an on-going guide as God continues to implement His plan He made before the foundation of the world. I have an engineering background so I'm comfortable with computers, software, and the internet. I'm also encouraged to see an emphasis being placed on technology. While it is just another tool, it is a very powerful tool and one which, in my opinion, the Church should utilize in our efforts to fulfill the "Great Commission". The internet and Ariel's website are "hi-tech" tools to be used in the spiritual war that is going on.
From my perspective, the periodic and scriptural-based comments about Israel's current situation, as it relates to God's Plan, makes the website more interesting, alive and relevant. I will pray for you, Gabriel and your class of believers, and for the peace of Jerusalem: (Psalm 122:6) ...Our weapon of choice is prayer and supplication in the Spirit. I would add to this ...the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:17)
Thanks for your post and may God Bless you.
